23 Mar2020 Customer Update: Covid 19
Insomnia Coffee Company has made the difficult decision to close all company owned stores in the UK from today 23rd March 2020 until it’s sensible to reopen. While we wish we could remain open to offer you the best coffee and an escape in these uncertain times, we need to do the right thing to protect our team members, our customers and communities, and do our part to help stop the sprea of Covid 19.
We will continue to re-evaluate these store closures but will only reopen once it is safe to do so. This will be done on a store by store basis.
We must take our hats off to our amazing team who have had to adapt very quickly to new measures put in place to maintain a safe environment for all. With the temporary store closures, we can now put 100% of our energy into supporting our team members and their ever-evolving needs in the new reality we face together. Because facing it together is the only way forward.
For now, we encourage our teams and customers to stay at home with loved ones and to keep kindness at the forefront of our lives, so that together we can help flatten the curve of this spread.
To our colleagues and partners in essential retail who don’t have the option of shutting their doors, we truly appreciate you.
In the meantime, our deepest gratitude goes out to all the front-line medical professionals. You really are superheroes.
