10 Dec2018 Dundalk – we are back!
Today we’ve opened a new store in Dundalk, Co. Louth!
Located in the Neighbourhood Centre, next to Dunnes Stores, the store is located near the industrial estate, the primary schools and colleges.
Rebecca Duffy Hamil is the new store manager and has worked with Insomnia for more than 7 years, she started as a barista in Malahide and more recently became store manager in Blanchardstown. Rebecca is now opening Dundalk and is thrilled about the new challenge!

We are now open in Letterkenny! We’re thrilled to have opened today our first store in Co. Donegal, just in time for your Christmassy Coffee!
Letterkenny, known as The Cathedral Town and the largest town in County Donegal, is now home for an Insomnia coffee shop – located in the Main Street where the famous Berry Layne restaurant used to be, the store is located in the Cathedral quarter in the heart of the town centre, just a short walk away from the cathedral.
Today we’ve opened our new Insomnia coffee store in Charleville, Co. Cork. Charleville is well known for being one of the largest milk processing and cheese making towns in Ireland.
This is Insomnia’s sixth store to open in Co. Cork and is placed in Charleville Town Centre – just in time for the Christmas shopping and for a few Christmas treats in the historic town!

Today we’ve opened a new Insomnia store in Dublin 1, right in the heart of the city!
The new store located at Liffey Street Upper is the perfect spot for a coffee if you’re shopping in town or just visiting some of the city’s land marks such as the General Post Office and the Ha’penny Bridge!

Today we’ve opened our second Insomnia store in Sligo!
Capital of the Northwest region and one of Ireland’s largest towns, Sligo sees a new Insomnia Coffee Shop opening today following the first opening in 2016 (Quayside SC).
Located in O’Connell Street, in the heart of the city and just across the street from Penneys, this is one of the most spacious Insomnia shops, with more than 60 seats and plenty of space to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. <
This year is huge for the Special Olympics Ireland Games as the games are taking place in Dublin for the first time in 16 years gathering 1600 Special Olympics athletes from throughout Ireland.
For the past few years we’ve been supporting Special Olympics on their collection day, this year the Collection Day will take place on Friday 20th April and we’ll be donating 5 cents for every hot drink purchased today.

In 2018 Insomnia will take part in UK Coffee Week for the second time, donating 5p for each coffee sold during this week!
Now in its eight-year, UK Coffee Week will be taking place from the 16th to the 22nd of April 2018 with a nationwide fundraising campaign across thousands of coffee shops across the UK.

For the past years of Insomnia’s involvement in Fairtrade Fortnight we’ve contributed with five cents from each cup sold towards our nominated community projects, raising a total of €107,389.
The €15,210 raised this year will go directly to our nominated project of the ASOBAGRI Coffee Cooperative, in Guatemala, with the aim to empower Women within the coffee industry in Latin America.

Every year, since 2009, we have taken part in Fairtrade Fortnight, where a percentage from each hot beverage sold is donated to our nominated Insomnia Community projects.
This Fairtrade Fortnight, we are donating 5p from every Fairtrade beverage sold to our nominated project of the ASOBAGRI Coffee Cooperative, in Guatemala, with the aim to empower Women within the coffee industry in Latin America.

We have just opened our doors in Primark Brocklebank Retail Park (Charlton, South London)!

We’ve just opened in our eighth Primark store in the busy town centre of Stockport, south-east of Manchester!
Located in the Merseyway Shopping Centre, Primark opened in 2011 bringing new life to Stockport and the city centre became a vibrant shopping area. Primark visitors can now enjoy a cup of coffee and have an enhanced shopping experience with the new addition to the store.

Three weeks ago, Shannon Gospel Choir gave an amazing performance at Insomnia Shannon! We had an amazing audience and all seats were taken to see this much-loved choir. A generous amount was raised (€370) for the Goradiche Orphanage (St. Senan’s Parish, Shannon) during the evening.

We’ve just opened our brand-new store in Drumcondra!

Summer has arrived and brought us not only the new delicious summer drinks but also a completely refurbished store – St. Stephens Green!
St Stephens Green reopened last week after a huge makeover, the store has now a new comfy sitting area, perfect for a quick meeting or catch up with friends.
The new store design incorporates natural wood, granite and brick finishes with a retro vintage feel through quirky fun branding and wall features.
