Insomnia Treats has been shorlisted in 3 categories at the Irish Loyalty Awards 2024: Retail Loyalty Programme/Initiative of the Year; Customer Experience of the Year Award; Established (5 Years+) Loyalty Programme of the Year

Insomnia won Best Customer Experience of the Year 2024 at the Irish Loyalty Awards with the Insomnia Treats Loyalty programme, demonstrating a customer-centric, personalised approach giving customers a seamless and intuitive customer journey and experience through out the App.

Insomnia has been named as one of Deloitte 's Ireland’s Best Managed Company in 2024. We have achieved the Gold Standard, having successfully requalified as a Best Managed Company for the 6^th consecutive year.

Insomnia Baggot Street was awarded Café of the Year 2023 at the Retail Excellence Awards, the largest retail industry representative organisation in Ireland. The Awards recognise, reward and celebrate outstanding performance and vision by stores and people throughout the Irish retail industry. This represents the third year in a row that Insomnia has won the Café of the Year category with Insomnia Shackleton winning in 2021 and Insomnia Thurles in 2022.

Insomnia have once again been named as a Deloitte Best Managed Company, re-qualifying for the accolade for a fifth successive year, achieving Gold Standard having successfully requalified as a Best Managed Company for 5 years.

Insomnia Thurles was named as Café & Restaurant of the Year at the AIB Merchant Services Retail Excellence Awards 2022. This represents the second year in a row that Insomnia has won the Café & Restaurant of the Year category with Insomnia Shackleton picking up the accolade last year.

The Irish Quality Food Awards recognise and celebrate the best in retail and for the 3rd year in a row Insomnia won the National Café Chain of the Year at the Irish Foodservice Quality Food Awards 2018.

Insomnia was shortlisted for "Best Coffee Chain - UK & Ireland" in the European Coffee Awards 2013 are the most prestigious awards in the European Coffee and Food to Go sector.

Insomnia is a member of SCA (Speciality Coffee Association of Europe), world association which promotes quality coffee culture and speciality coffees.

Our compostable cups are fully certified in accordance with EN13432 Standards, meaning that they are guaranteed to break down into nutrient-rich soil within 8-12 weeks when commercially composted. 

Insomnia is a member of REPAK, through REPAK’s recycling scheme we contribute to supporting the recycling of packaging and the reduction of waste being sent to landfill.

Insomnia Coffee Company has been Fairtrade certified since 2006 and has used 100% Fairtrade certified coffee long before it was fashionable.
